I always keep an eye on the collections of Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy, 3.1 Phillip Lim and ACNE.
For pre-fall, Ricardo delivered, according to WWD, a strategic evolution of his stellar spring lineup, recasting the perfect jackets, tuxedo trousers and pleated earth-goddess dresses in Bauhaus colors and a variation on a Gustav Klimt print. “Klimt has been an obsession and I find it very ethnic in a way,” said Tisci of the motif that appeared on jackets and dresses with touches of palettes in the pleats.
Creative director from ACNE Jonny Johansson showed a sophisticated collection with furry aviator jackets, long, lean skirts, silk tops and chic languid pants.
Phillip Lim got inspired by the architectural side of Berlin and showed a colorful and abstract collection with metallic highlights.
